Julia Murray is a visual artist, focusing on drawing and painting. 

Born in upstate New York, she is highly influenced by patterns in nature. Her work explores themes of movement, growth, and expansion.

Julia aims to investigate the seen, unseen, inner, and outer workings of the natural world. Feeling that the mere observation of organic patterns can heal, she creates abstract works based on these patterns and on her own imagination. She aims to find the place where healing, nature, and art become one. In a place beyond the individual, and into the universal, omnipresent patterning within all organic systems.
